Has it been a week already?

I have barely touched this computer for a week. I have been too busy helping Riky with the numourous projects that he had on our schedule for this week. The biggest of all being scraping the popcorn off of the celing of the basement. It is finished. Riky is now eyeballing the upstairs ceiling. I am still sore from scraping on Monday and Tuesday. And cleaning up. I actually ended up with a blister from sweeping. I have swept many many times before in my life. I have worked at restaurants and convenience stores and closed them. Which, of course, meant tons of sweeping and mopping.

I have never gotten blisters before. Never.

Until now.
I think this help meet thing is overrated.

Not really!

So... that was Monday and Tuesday....
I have no idea what we did for Wednesday.

Thursday I went and got my hair done while Riky spent the day with the boys. I spent 5 and a half hours getting blond highlights.

5 and 1/2 hours!

It was worth it. I wanted a drastic change and some dramatic color and I got it!I now have too many highlights, though. When I go back in to have the roots touched up, I am going to have them put some black back into it. Because of the sheer volume of bleach on my hair some of it blead into the hair that was supposed to remain black. It should be to the desired shades soon, though. I think that it will take a month or so for me to be brave enough to go back in. I don't want to fry my hair.
