I have this uncanny ability... I can tell you where anything is...
Your sunglasses are under the green chair in the Living Room.
Jordan washed your keys in the downstairs tub. They're drying on the bathroom sink. No, I did not let him. I just know about it.
The chainsaw manual is in bottom drawer of the file cabinet. At the back. Look past the last labeled folder. Yeah, back there.
Your other sock is under the kitchen table. Yes, IT IS, look again.
Dishwasher, top rack.
The bookmark is in the bathroom. No, that is not code for anything.
How am I supposed to know what it's doing there? Do I look like I know everything.
Hey, why is my hairbrush on the back deck?
Your Little People Fire Truck -- in the office. Under the desk. Way back. Go all the way under. Yea, there you go. Way back. Just like I said.
What is wrong with you guys? Don't you know how to put anything away?
Is that one of my new forks in the garbage?
Your Bible? by the shoes --at the front door. Yes, I'm sure.
Is that cat wearing my new headband?
Will you sign that paper on the table? Second page top and the back on the bottom.
The broom is still in the upstairs bathroom. The dustpan? In the kitchen sink. I don't know why. I just know.
Your drill? On the back porch.
The dog just got your other sock from under the table. Told you so.
Alas...I brought Riky's wallet in from camping yesterday. He asked me where it is . I don't know. Ask me again and I'll tell you the same.
I have special places that I put things. So that they will be safe. For always, apparently.
And...I still walk into the kitchen...stop...look around...turn around...open the fridge...then the freezer...a couple of cabinets... and leave the room not having any clue what I went in there for.
and not realize what it was for Hours.
I get online and check my email, blog surf and get off without paying any bills...which was my origional destination.
I go to town with a list and still forget to get tags for the van...milk for the boys...and stamps...a doctor's appointment...cat food...
This very moment, I have no idea where I was going with all of this.
