Binge and Purge

I am now a closet bulimic. I love clothes. I buy them in spurts. I will buy clothes for weeks at a time and then not buy anymore for months. I hate to spend money on myself, so somehow for a short season, I will justify the expense. Then I am guilt ridden and won't make any personal purchases for a long stretch of time. Now that I am signed up for Missus Smarty Pants she wants me to purge out my closet. I have to get rid of things that don't fit right, don't fit into my design parameters, aren't my current size, aren't in my color scheme or are out of date. I must purge. I am also doing this in spurts, so it doesn't hurt too much. Hopefully it will leave me feeling fabulous all of the time, but I am not totally sure that I want to get rid of all of my comfort clothes. Who wants to look fabulous all of the time, anyway?
