Writer's Block

I'm still here. I would love to tell you that I thought of something witty and amusing to share, but alas, I have no material. I have been ever so busy this week, but there have been no catastrophes or adventures to speak of.

I am thinking of composing some ongoing stories from my past, but first I have to locate them, dust them off and check them for a good solid G rating.Then I'll see if they are blogworthy. I plan to be doing this blogging thing for the long haul as I am already working on my "100 things about me" list that I will share when I get to my 100th post.

I am now on my 22nd post and have writers block. I guess I am a "glass is half full" kinda person after all.
(as an aside)My optimism drives Riky crazy. We both used to be pessimistic. We were quite the gloomy couple at times. Now I work hard to apply the Bible and think on those things that are holy and righteous and true. For me this translates to being optimistic and patient, which in turn builds my faith up as I try to rely on Riky and God for for my leading.
It drives Riky nuts that I can be so cheerful at catastrophe, but I live by the motto "fake it till you make it". Plus, I enjoy driving him nuts a little. Well, maybe more than a little ; )

So, as I sit here with you, my children are watching Saturday morning cartoons with chocolate milk and Snickerdoodles(a fancy name for yummy cookies~~Thanks Virginia) for breakfast and I find it hard to locate any material to tell you about!
