Riky's cousin Trent called us on Tuesday and asked us if Riky was working (he wasn't because of the cold front that had moved in on Monday) and wanted to get the Sheetrock done for Michael's room. He ended up coming over at about 11 and they worked until 4:30. I can not believe how fast Trent is. Riky and I were talking later about whether he was able to learn anything about mudding and taping. Riky said there was no way that he could learn anything. Every time that he turned around, Trent was done with another section. It was astonishing how quickly a room took shape under Trent's skilled hands. Wow. We have two more coats of mud to put on, sanding, priming, painting, finishing the electrical, hanging doors, and trim. That sounds like a long list, but we are actually almost done. I can't believe how little there is to do before Michael will be able to move in. I am so thankful to the men who were willing to give of their time and energy to help us complete our project. Riky is always helping others and it is now coming back around. We are so blessed to have willing helpers in our lives.
