It has been 13. Days. Since. My. Last. Post. I feel like I should be in some confessional or something when I say that. I can't believe how busy it has been here. I feel guilty when I don't get at least one post a week done and here it is almost 2 weeks!
We have new windows and one new door. The guys are coming back to do the other door and the patio door Wednesday. I am excited to get it all done. I must give Planet Windows a plug here. They have done an excellent job. The windows are great, and their bid was about $2000 cheaper than the average bid that we got. But the work is not shabby, like I was worried about. Other than it taking a little longer than I thought that it would, I am completely satisfied with the job that they have done thus far. Every concern I had was addressed imediately. I am pleased.
Riky has so many projects in the works for this summer. Not only do we have to finish Michael's room (almost there!), we have all the materials arriving for a garage today. I am sure that we will be using all of our free time on that and my blog will again be neglected often. Oh well.
Also, I basically take the winter off from school, so we are getting into full swing here when everyone else is just starting to peter out. That is fine by me. The boys are much more motivated to get school done when the sun is shining and there is a promise of playing in the great outdoors when they are through. It works for us better this way.
We went to Butte two weekends ago and had a wonderful time. We are now in the process of planning a trip to Denver and Colorado Springs for this summer. I was hoping for June, but it looks like July or August might work out better. I will try to keep you posted and will add more about our trip to Butte sometime soon, I hope.
