'Tis the Season

These balls are blue and silver, not black and silver, like the picture seems. Although with Riky being a Raiders fan, I would not be surprised if he tried to talk me into that! The blue is actually the same color as the ribbon, if you can believe that.

Notice all of the decorations front and center. They're only young once.
Riky started a fire for the decorating party. Then everyone got hot and started stripping.
This is where I put the tree first, then Riky decided that he likes to watch the television. The tree is directly between the couch (on the right) and the t.v. (just out of the shot on the left)
So...it ended up in the corner. Oh well. At least the balls on the bottom look blue from here! And, no, I don't have a tree skirt. I'm sure that I will find one on clearance after Christmas. I only paid $1.86 for the tree stand that way and I found the cross topper for $2.99 at Target a few years ago!

This was our first real tree and thus the first one that I documented in pictures. I hope that you have enjoyed yourself.

BTW picture one has the curtains up. Picture 4 has them down. I am constantly waffling back and forth between the two. Anyone have any preferences?
