Great peace have they which love thy law: and nothing shall offend them.
Psalm 119:165
Nothing?
Not even mean, deliberate, spiteful, vindictive, intentional, hate-filled personal attacks?
Great peace have they which love thy law: and nothing shall offend them.
Well, you either believe the Bible or you don't. I, for one, believe. So it goes to reason that I don't love God's law as I should if I am offended.
God is great. All morning I had this verse running through my head. I even quoted it to Michael and asked him if I was saying it right.
Then, this afternoon, something happened that made me realize that God was preparing me to not be offended about something. I must say, I did get offended at first.
After about 30 minutes, I felt at peace with the whole situation. Not necessarily comfortable, but that God would be with me whatever happened and I was doing the right thing by following him and his leading.
So, yes, nothing.
Great peace have they which love thy law: and nothing shall offend them.
