Picture perfect...

Sherri, this post's for you. : )
I had started posting these pictures in November, but time just got away from me. Then the other day Sherri did this post, and it reminded me to drag this post back out of the vaults and finish it.

In November I took 72 pictures of my boys and/or my boys and the puppies. I was hoping to get three or four that I could use for our Christmas cards. Talk about a challenge!

This series of pictures wasn't near as bad as....Trying to get these ones... count the puppies, the only one that stayed was Trecy, and that's because she liked chewing on Michael's ears...
just before that, Zorro was licking Jordan's forehead...

before that Zorro and Chico were attempting a double escape...

and on the first try, we discovered how much PUPPIES TICKLE!!!
There are oh, so many things wrong with this one... Jake...Jordan's shirt...Michael's chins...the television cords...

Jake jumping through the field didn't help this one at all...
I have no idea who's shadow this could be ; )

Jeffrey looks great in this one...except being so far away and standing in front of his brothers...this could be a good one....not
Every year we have a great time taking pictures for our Christmas cards. It's definitely cheaper and more fun than having them professionally taken.
Three years ago we didn't have a digital camera. I Praise the Lord for digital cameras. I remember one year when I did have to use film and took 2 rolls (48) that I didn't like, so I took another 36 and on the way to get them one hour developed, Jordan opened the camera back!
Jordan was being a pill that year and he kept crossing his arms and pouting. I just told the other boys to cross their arms and we went with it. We had some pretty decent pictures come out of those and Jordan cheered up as soon as he realized that he wasn't going to rule the day with his attitude.
One of these days I will think ahead and will do "photo shoots" in months other than November. I would love to get some summer shots of the boys.

I think that next time I am going to go in and get them done professionally. I love the ones that I have that were, and I rarely ever get framable pictures when I use my camera. I know my grandparents would appreciate it, too since I will have hard copies to send them. They're not much into computers so I doubt they even know what my younger three look like to this day. :/
