Where is her mother?

I can't believe that parents are so desensitized these days.

While Riky and I were on vacation, we spent tons of time as a family doing things that were not in heavily populated locations. I truly believe that the Lord blessed us in our pursuits of modesty. When we would have time to go to the pool, there would be no one else in it, only small children, or the one time it was extremely busy, there was a boy's little league baseball team in the pool ( we did have some problems with the language at that time and had to leave, but that is a different story altogether). We were certainly blessed and we recognize it and are thankful for it.

There were a few times that we were around lots of people, though. At those times Riky and I each noticed how literally naked young girls are getting. Literally. Bikinis would not have surprised us when we were in an area near a water park, but low cut shirts over top of swimsuits did. Where are these girls' parents? Who buys these shirts for them? What are they thinking. Since when does a 6,7,8,9,10...year old girl ask her friends if "this top is sexy?" *I actually overheard a girl of unknown age, but prepubescent, ask her friends this in the restroom.
There were YOUNG (like 4, 5, 6)girls wearing "blonds are more fun" t-shirts (what manufacturer makes those sizes?!). I'm sorry, but when the "blonds are more fun" thing first started, it was not because blonds were supposedly more fun on the playground.
I saw a girl, maybe 13 maybe. wearing a tank top that said "party like a rock star" She was with her mother. I wanted to smack her mom. I really wanted to.

What is wrong with these parents? There were girls wearing tops that could have been considered lingerie. Shorts so short that you want to grab a towel and cover these little girls up. Guard them from the leering looks of grown men who can't help themselves. My goodness, if I couldn't help but notice, how could a man?
Halter tops are conservative compared to some of the things that I saw on some of these girls. Girls. not women. Girls who should have to pass parents on their way out the door! My friend Amy wrote a post about skirts that she bought for her daughter the other day. It inspired me to rant about who does wear these short skirts.

Now, if I had my way, we would not have gone on vacation during a hot, naked time of year, but God did bless my boys (Riky included) There was very little "naked" that they were exposed to.

The theme park (Elich Gardens) where I saw most of this did have signs that said that appropriate attire (shirts, pants, and shoes) was required in the main part of Elich ( there is a water park that is slightly separated from the amusement part) I actually saw them enforcing this rule and was greatly impressed that most people followed the rule. Where ever you go, there are always people that don't care and just want to make a scene. Well, we found some of them.

And they were: Out of their minds.

(Mark 5:15 and they come to Jesus, and see him that was possessed with the devil,... sitting, and clothed, and in his right mind.)Every time I see scantily clad women, I don't think of how they will have to pay for committing adultery with men who lust after them, I don't think of what hussies they are for flaunting what they have (or don't have, as is often the case) I don't think of anything except this piece of scripture where there is man possessed of the devil and out of his mind. He runs all over these tombs naked and was literally out of his mind. As soon as Jesus goes to him and casts out the demons from his body, we find him sitting, and clothed, and in his right mind. These women are truly the devil's handmaidens and don't even know it. They cause righteous men to fall and don't even realize what part they play in it.

They are out of their minds and are passing this craziness on to their daughters.

Lord help our sons.
