Well, we had a busy-busy-busy vacation. I think that we should have a week off after one of these "vacations." Which is what I have essentially done. It has taken me all week to get caught up on housework and stuff since we got back on Saturday. My house is just about back on track.
Just about.
I still wanted to shampoo carpets today and didn't get to it, but that is alright. I have no plans for tomorrow, so I think that I will just do it then.
Riky has been working nonstop since we got back and, quite frankly, I don't know how he does it! He's had to be at work before 6:00 everyday this week. There were a few days that he didn't get home before 7. Like today. I am writing this at 7:38 pm and he is not home yet! I think that he is on his way now, though. It will be nice to see his face again :) I am soooo glad that I took lots of pictures of him while we were away :)
Well, back to the vacation. We left after church on Wednesday and drove through the night to Fort Collins to have breakfast with Colter (a friend of Riky's from high school). We spent a few hours with him after breakfast and then continued our trip to Colorado Springs, CO. We got there around 10:30. We then went straight to Focus on the Family. That is why in all of the pix there, we're in church clothes. We had tons of fun there! We were able to make our own Adventure in Odyssey! It was awesome. There are lots of things to do there and it is all free! It really was great.
I will continue this as the days go by...otherwise I won't get it posted for months!
