I feel like I am stuck watching that green screen on the Matrix. Except I can't read it like that guy with the braids can.


like I have been handed a recipe for a dish I have never had- written in a language that I have never seen- in a kitchen that I have never been in -and been asked to cook for people I have never met.


like I have been handed the controls to a plane and told to land- while the pilot climbs in the back to check something.


like I am trying to put someone else's kid to sleep with no bottle, binky, blanky or diaper change.


I have been trying for two days to change my template to this really cool one that I found. I got it to work once, but then I pulled a typical me and previewed another one thinking that it might be better and now I can't change a thing and I am getting constant error messages. It says that all of my widgets will be deleted when I try to upload the new template, but if that is the buttons on the sidebar, it deleted them yesterday. I am soooooooo stuck. And now I have lost my sitemeter and all of my cute little blinkies.

It doesn't really bother me to not have the blinkies if I can get the template that I want, but if I can't change anything...I want my blinkies back as a consolation prize or something. Can anyone help me? I am sooooo out of my league, in over my head, drowning...drowning slowly in html gob-el-de-gook.
