Below is an excerpt from email that I sent to Sherri earlier today. I thought that I would share it with you:

BTW What are you doing for Easter? Don't forget there is a Patch performance on Sunday. Don't bother with them wearing their Easter best... I made the mistake yesterday of shop shop shopping for new ties for the boys and a new dress for me. * added (Then Michael reminded me of the fact that they had to wear white shirts and black pants for the performance.) * The one time of year that I treat myself (for sure) to a dress that is not secondhand is for Easter. This year I am too fat and Riky made me wait for too long to look for one. I found a dress that I liked a few weeks ago, but Riky wasn't in the mood to make any decisions as to whether I could spend $30 on a dress or not, and of course, all of the fat women of Billings and the surrounding areas have already cleaned out all of the decent dresses. Really, who wants to see someone my size in something with spaghetti straps, in mint green no less? Why do they even bother making these dresses? Who are these people? I did see one cute dress at Ross' in the color I was looking for, but it was 3 sizes smaller than I am right now.
I better go. That is enough vain gloominess for one day!

I've come over a few times from Sherri's blog and I just want to say that I totally get what you're talking about. Dresses for "plus-size" women are ridiculous! {{hugs}} from one struggling woman to another. It's tough out there!
